We are therefore pleased to announce that this year Sinnwell will be presenting itself as an exhibitor at the online trade fair “SOLDATA” for the first time!

What is SOLDATA?

When time in the Bundeswehr comes to an end, soldiers face the decision of how to proceed with their professional careers. To make their transition into the civilian job market easier, there are several points of contact in Germany. One of them is the “Dienstzeitende” platform by DZE GmbH. It offers a wide range of job opportunities for former soldiers as well as many useful tips on career choices and further training opportunities after service in the Bundeswehr.

In addition to this platform, DZE also launched SOLDATA in 2016: a virtual event through which German soldiers around the world can get to know companies and make contacts via live chat. Every year, experts also give talks on career opportunities after leaving the Bundeswehr.

A concept that has proven successful: since its launch, the online soldiers’ trade fair has been held regularly twice a year. The number of participants continues to grow with each event. In November 2021, SOLDATA is taking place for the twelfth time; in the previous year, around 9,000 former and active soldiers took part in the fair.

As one of over 140 well-known exhibitors at the fair, Sinnwell aims to enable former soldiers to successfully start their careers after leaving the Bundeswehr.

What jobs does Sinnwell offer at SOLDATA 2021?

We therefore offer active and former soldiers the opportunity to find out at our virtual booth at SOLDATA about training to become a site manager at Sinnwell. For the open positions, we are looking for applicants who have completed vocational training or a degree in electrical engineering or telecommunications engineering. Site managers in the Sinnwell team oversee the expansion of mobile infrastructure—from project planning and construction coordination to completion.

When will SOLDATA 2021 take place?

The twelfth SOLDATA begins on November 16 and ends on November 20, 2021. Participation in the online trade fair is completely free of charge.
