01.08.2023 SINNWELL in Greece

In today’s globalized world, it’s possible to build teams across national borders and collaborate successfully. This is exactly what we’re experiencing right now at SINNWELL with our colleague Olga in Thessaloniki, Greece. Although many kilometers separate Germany and Thessaloniki, the geographical distance doesn’t matter to us. In this blog post, we’d like to share our experiences and, in particular, shed light on an employee’s perspective.

The Magic of Distance

It may seem strange at first that the geographical distance between Germany and Greece plays no role in our collaboration. But thanks to modern technology, such as video conferencing and project management tools, seamless communication and coordination are possible. Our team assistant, Olga, has shown us that physical distance is no obstacle to effective collaboration. On the contrary, she reports that she feels great and enjoys being part of our international team in Germany.

Our colleague Liara, who is working in Athens on a project for one of our clients, also demonstrates how well collaboration can work regardless of location.

A Pleasant Working Relationship

Olga emphasizes that working with the German team goes very smoothly and is a pleasant experience. Key factors in this are reliability, good communication, and organizational skills. From Greece, Olga is responsible for updating data, tracking time, and handling other organizational tasks as they arise. The German team values her work and supports her in every way. The open communication and mutual understanding among team members help Olga feel valued and make her enjoy carrying out her tasks.

A career full of variety

Olga speaks enthusiastically about the diversity of her tasks as a team assistant. No two workdays are alike, and she appreciates the variety her job offers. From managing data to coordinating meetings and handling other administrative tasks, there is always something new to do. This dynamic and the challenges it presents are a source of motivation for Olga and help ensure that she enjoys working for SINNWELL every day.

The Importance of Face-to-Face Meetings

Although cross-border collaboration is successful, Olga emphasizes the importance of face-to-face meetings. During her stay in Munich, she has already had the chance to meet some of the German team. She is especially looking forward to the company anniversary celebration, where she will finally get to meet all her colleagues in person. Olga is convinced that personal relationships can further strengthen collaboration and improve team dynamics.

Our Conclusion

The successful collaboration with Olga and Liara in Greece is an example of how modern technology and a positive work culture can bridge distances. Olga, as a team assistant, is enthusiastic about her role and feels valued and motivated. For her, working with the German team is a source of joy. We are proud of this collaboration and look forward to a successful future in which we will continue to grow together across national borders, hopefully soon with additional new colle
